Richard Rader is an accomplished Senior Executive and Board Member with more than 30 years of success across the software technology, gaming, and higher education industries. Leveraging extensive experience creating complex technology infrastructures, he is a valuable asset for a rapidly growing business in need of a subject-matter expert in sustainable and long-term technology solutions. His broad areas of expertise include analytics, big data, strategic planning and implementation, business process improvement, and growth.

 

Throughout his career, Richard has held various leadership positions including Database Engineer for HP, Product Marketing Manager at IGT, and Instructor at the University of Phoenix. Currently, he is the Chief Technology Officer at Seven Feathers Casino and Resort where he has been working since 2011.  Richard has had tremendous success over the years and has served as a key contributor to numerous organizational achievements. He was responsible for architecting a new Novell Netware Solution for metrology which maintained a near 100% uptime at HP. As the Product Marketing Manager at IGT, Richard coordinated with domestic and global clients to develop a product strategy that was relevant across various cultures and customers. In his current role as CTO, he successfully developed an in-house gaming bonus system that is currently patent pending. Additionally, he architected the technology that allowed the casino to be the first in the industry implement wireless technology in the casino while still maintaining security.

 

Richard received his Bachelor of Science in Natural Sciences from Western Oregon University and his Master’s Degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Phoenix. He also completed the Oracle CEU Program and received his Visual C++ certification from Portland Community College.  Richard currently has five pending patents as well as a number of published articles. Richard has served as a Board Member of the Gaming and Leisure Advisory Board and Tribal Net.
