Michael Olujic has been the General Manager of Tachi Palace Casino Resort since April 2019. He is an experienced and conscientious, executive-level leader with 15 years of unparalleled and diverse expertise in the casino/gaming and hospitality industry. He’s a strategic planner with a strong and verifiable record of delivering significant, sustainable revenue growth while driving profit gains even in competitive and challenging markets. In just one year, he has marketed and rebranded the property from Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino to Tachi Palace Casino Resort. Michael has remodeled the gaming floor, bingo hall, added Quick Service Restaurants, and 3rd Floor gaming space to include a new bar. During the COVID-19 crisis, his strong leadership style, strategic planning skills, and out-of-the-box ideas set the property up for a safe, successful re-opening. He spearheaded casino renovations during the downtime, including adding more slot space for social distancing, outlining a fluid plan to responsibly open in phases, and implementing safe return-to-work procedures for associates. To date, these changes have allowed them to safely remain open while maintaining the guest experience. Michael is an enrolled member of the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin and earned an MBA from Marquette University and bachelor’s degree from Iowa State University.
