Martín Polanco, MD is Founder of The Mission Within and the Mission To Live Foundation and a leading physician in ibogaine and 5-MeO-DMT therapy. With 25+ years in clinical practice and 5,000+ patients treated, he has helped advance trauma-informed, safety-first psychedelic care for PTSD, addiction, TBI, depression, and other treatment-resistant conditions. He has supported 1,300+ veterans and special operators and collaborates with researchers to study outcomes. Today, he works to expand legal, ethical access while building data that informs policy—and views these therapies as catalysts for economic development, creating community opportunity through mental health treatment, clinical innovation, and sustainable economic diversification.
