Dr. Terry Bush

Chief Optometry Officer | Muscogee Creek Nation Department of Health

Dr. Bush graduated from NSU College of Optometry in 1997 and has spent most of his career providing care within the tribal health system in Oklahoma. He has practiced at Chickasaw Nation Medical Center in the past and has spent the last 13+ years with the Muscogee Creek Nation Department of Health (MCNDH). He has served as the Chief Optometry Officer for the MCNDH for the past 8 years and is tasked with directing the Optometry department to provide excellent eyecare, but also grow the interdisciplinary relationships within the MCNDH. Those relationships allow for more comprehensive diabetic care, which helps foster better outcomes. Dr. Bush enjoys providing individualized care for the patients within the health system and finding the best way to meet each one’s needs. Outside of practice Dr. Bush enjoys spending time with his wife and 4 children. He also enjoys spending time with family and friends and going on cruises.
