David Nejelski holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Kansas State University and is a highly accomplished architectural designer, known nationwide for his innovative and culturally inspired creations in the realm of hotels, resorts, and casinos across North America. With an impressive career spanning over three decades, Nejelski has brought his creative expertise to the forefront in notable establishments like We-Ko-Pa Casino Resort and Firekeepers Casino & Hotel, as well as the opulent Buffalo Thunder Resort, among numerous other tribal and commercially owned properties. As the Vice President and Creative Director at TBE Architects, Nejelski takes an active role in leading his team to redefine the concept of space. His introduction to the industry began in 1993 when he joined TBE as a Junior Designer. Throughout his career, Nejelski has been involved in the design of hotels and casinos in various gaming markets across the United States and Canada, with a particular focus on developing unique and captivating themed entertainment concepts. Additionally, he possesses extensive experience in fast-track and project phasing, and his combined project portfolio is valued at over $1 billion. Nejelski’s talents have left an indelible mark on properties like Indigo Sky, Harrah’s Ak-Chin, Quil Ceda Creek Casino, J Resort, and many others, consistently delivering awe-inspiring spaces that leave a lasting impression on visitors.
