Bill Anderson brings more than 30 years of Marketing and casino industry experience as the Chief Marketing Officer at Pechanga Resort Casino. Serving as the CMO for one of the largest and most-traveled-to resort casinos in the country, Bill oversees a myriad of disciplines responsible for ensuring Pechanga Resort Casino’s messaging, branding, awareness, customer loyalty and more are second to none.

 

Born in Curaçao, Netherland Antilles.   Bill moved to Las Vegas at an early age and graduated Clark High School in 1987.  Bill attended the University of Nevada, Reno. Graduating with a Business Management degree and a minor in Casino Management.

 

Starting his casino marketing career as a slot host at the Atlantis Resort Casino (1992-1999) in Reno, Bill quickly moved through the ranks and became Director of Player Development & Slot Marketing. The blue waters of Lake Tahoe then came calling with a Director of Casino Marketing role for the Hyatt Regency (1999-2000) in Incline Village, NV.   Next was  a several year stint with Harrah’s Reno (2000-2003) as their Director of VIP Services, he made the jump to the Indian gaming sector to open Thunder Valley Casino (2003-2009) as their Vice President of Player Development, within a few years later taking over Marketing as well.   Ameristar Casino Resort Spa (2009-2011) recruited Bill to open their brand new Colorado property.

 

Bill headed back to California in 2011 as the Vice President of Player Development at Pechanga Resort Casino. In 2017 he was promoted Chief Marketing Officer overseeing Player Development, Advertising and Branding, Communications and PR, Loyalty Marketing, Club and Entertainment Operations and Creative Studios. Since arriving at Pechanga, Bill has led his teams in a $300 million resort expansion, a full brand refresh, instituted dedicated Asian marketing teams, and more.   When he’s not working, Bill enjoys spending time with his wife on his avocado/flower farm.  Bill is also an avid golfer and future Pickleball champion in the making.
