The second half of 2025 began in September with a series of conferences that drove innovation, shared expertise, and shaped key conversations for Tribal enterprises heading into 2026. From marketing and enterprise development to security and leadership, Part 2 of our year-end recap highlights the programs and insights that defined the end of the year

The Tribal Casino Marketing Conference- September 2025

The 2nd Annual Tribal Casino Marketing Conference kicked off on September 14 at Pechanga Resort Casino, bringing senior marketing leaders together to explore trends, challenges, and strategies shaping the gaming industry. Sessions such as AI: Continuing to Transform Marketing and Enhanced Strategies to Increase Player Loyalty offered practical tools to modernize campaigns and boost engagement.

Attendees praised the collaborative atmosphere. Cristine Isabell described it as “a great conference for marketers to capture new views, ideas, and network,” while Bailey Bordelon highlighted the “beneficial sessions and lots of opportunities to network.” With its emphasis on innovation, learning, and connection, the conference reaffirmed its place as a must-attend event for Tribal casino marketing leaders.

Tribal Casino Hotel Development & Innovation Conference- October 2025

In October, Tribal leaders and industry professionals gathered at Harrah’s Resort Southern California for the 17th Annual Tribal Casino Hotel Development & Innovation Conference. Covering design, development, renovation, and operational strategies, the event provided practical insights to help organizations remain competitive in a rapidly evolving market.

Highlights included Diversifying Your Revenue Stream with Non-Gaming Amenities, which explored concerts, activities, and sports partnerships, and Driving Guest Engagement Through the Power of AI, featuring a hands-on demonstration by Imagine This.

Attendees valued both the content and the connections. Abraham Lincoln recommended the conference for anyone “looking for knowledge about new builds, renovations, and emerging technology,” while Jesse Ward noted how easy it was to network with vendors and peers. With its mix of actionable insights and meaningful engagement, the conference continued to stand out as an essential gathering for Tribal casino and hotel professionals.

Tribal Security and Surveillance Conference- October 2025

Later in October, the focus shifted to one of the most critical priorities for Tribal enterprises: protecting people, assets, and operations. The Seventh Annual Tribal Security & Surveillance Conference, held October 28–29 at Pechanga Resort Casino, brought industry leaders together to address challenges in physical security, surveillance, and cyber protection.

Sessions such as AI in Security and Surveillance: Navigating Innovation in High-Risk Environments generated strong engagement, while a demonstration of the ZeroEyes Gun Detection Platform showcased proactive, AI-driven threat detection in action.

Attendees and sponsors alike praised the detailed, relevant content and the intimate format, which encouraged meaningful conversations and connections. With its balance of hands-on learning, forward-looking insights, and networking opportunities, the conference left participants better prepared to meet the security challenges ahead.

Native American Leadership Forum West- December 2025

Rounding out the year, the 11th Annual Native American Leadership Forum – West was held December 8–10 at the beautiful Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort in Hawaii. Led by Jerrod Murr, this three-day forum brought together elected officials, appointed board members, and department heads for interactive opportunities to practice leadership in real time. Attendees explored new ways of thinking, speaking, and acting, gaining practical tools to strengthen organizational effectiveness and better serve their communities.

Sessions such as Uniting a Council: From Individual Roles to Collective Leadership and It Starts with You: Why Personal Growth is the Linchpin for Leadership helped participants develop strategies they could immediately take back to their organizations.

Participants consistently described the forum as impactful and energizing. Denise McCombs-Esquivel shared, “I didn’t realize how much I needed this conference until I attended. It served as an important reminder that leadership starts with me, and that I must continue to practice what I preach and remain the role model I strive to be.” Alicia Tlelo, Housing Director of the Pinoleville Pomo Nation, echoed this sentiment, calling the experience “a 10 out of 10—you’re engaged the whole time… and you can take a lot back and apply what you learn.” As the final event of 2025, the forum reinforced Native Nation Events’ commitment to meaningful, experience-driven leadership development and sent leaders into 2026 with renewed confidence and practical insight.
