Business Development Manager, Gaming | Hanwha Vision America
Prior to becoming the Business Development Manager for Hanwha in 2021, Tim spent 23 years in the security industry in various security and surveillance roles related to gaming. He began as a surveillance technician within the Caesars organization, where he received great experience and training. He then had the opportunity to assist in the design and build of the Belterra Casino security/surveillance solution in Indiana. He was involved in every aspect of the project and then remained for two years to support the property before crossing over into the security integrator world.
In 2004 He joined his first integration company focused on expanding their casino presence. His success there led to an offer to join an established casino integrator, where he continued to gain experience. By 2007, a colleague and himself stepped out and founded their own integration company, which they successfully ran until they sold to a venture capital group. During that time, they converted over 40 casinos from analog to digital, participated in many design builds for new casinos across the central and eastern US, and expanded into industrial, educational, and CONUS and OCONUS OGA business.
When the opportunity to join Hanwha was offered, it was a very easy decision for him. As an integrator Samsung/Hanwha was his go-to camera manufacturer. He could always count on top-level products at a price point below the comparable competition and support that was second to none. Hanwha always stood behind their product and never left him hanging. That was how they ran their integration company, and he was very excited to be able to continue with a company with those same principles and level of commitment while supporting an industry that has supported his family for so many years.
