Taryn Thompson is an entrepreneur from Akwesasne Territory which borders the United States-New York State-Canada boundaries. As owner and General Manager she operates the vertically integrated Belushi’s Farm on Territory. She teamed up with nationally known actor-comedian Jim Belushi and his growing national brand, Belushi’s Farm. Her operation grows and sells high-end and unique strains.  Ms. Thompson’s operations are licensed and regulated by the St Regis Mohawk tribal government. With her business partner Zach Oakes they worked with their tribal regulator to ensure the production and sale of products that meet or exceed national standards for quality and safety.
