Rochelle Amber Camille Williams, MS, is the Tribal Operations Manager for Volunteers of America Western Washington. Rochelle oversees the tribal programs at VOAWW which include both the Native and Strong Lifeline (Tribal 988) and the Washington Indian Behavioral Health Hub based in Everett, Washington. Rochelle is an enrolled member of the Ehattesaht First Nation, which is located on the West side of Northern Vancouver Island, Canada. Her Maternal Grandparents are the late Dorothy Hughley (Gobin-Reeves) and the late Oliver Hughley of Marysville and Tulalip, Washington. Rochelle’s paternal Grandparents are the late Millie Smith-Martin (Ehattesaht/Nuchatlaht) and Levi Martin of the Tla-O-Quiaht First Nation. Rochelle’s Mother is Denise Smith and her Father is Peter Smith from the Ehattesaht First Nation.

Prior to joining the Behavioral Health Team at VOAWW, Rochelle had worked with t̓ix̌dxʷ bədbədaʔ (Stillaguamish) in Indian Child Welfare and also served as the Stillaguamish Tribe Elders Program Manager. She has also worked in Indian Child Welfare at beda?chelh (Tulalip) and spent 11 years as a Montessori teacher. In her spare time, she enjoys fishing, reading, cooking, traveling, snuggling her super bad and feral cats, sea glass picking and rock hounding with her fiancé and other rock hounding fanatics.
