Jennifer Johnson is an accomplished veteran of the casino industry currently working as Vice President of Marketing at Palms Casino Resort. She was part of the team which opened its doors 4 months after receiving its gaming license and 2 years after the property closed.
Jennifer and her teams have been responsible for the reimagined Brand with a new focus on local and regional players and a commitment to our community partners. Worked with multiple teams to stand up the technologies, hardware & software needed for operations and marketing. Built a database from the ground up using old data and the organizations regional property. Strategically aligned Media, PR, Social, Influencer, Digital, and Casino strategies to keep the property relevant for 18 months from opening. Built on property marketing team from scratch. Created processes, internal controls, SOPs where none existed. Assisted with our shared services departments to help them create their processes on how to work best with multiple enterprises.
As the Vice President of Loyalty Marketing at Foxwoods Resort Casino. She spearheaded the property’s revamped Foxwoods Rewards program, implementing innovative Tier Credits and Choice Benefits to create a deeper, more rewarding guest experience. Jennifer also oversaw the Strategic Marketing Calendar, using her unique vision to optimize Foxwoods’ robust event programming. Using her expertise in operations, marketing, and technical areas, her leadership extends to FoxPerx where she played an instrumental role in shaping the course of the property’s daily slots bonusing program. During her tenure Foxwoods received the Best Casino Outside of Las Vegas in USA Today (2018) and Best Loyalty Club in Player’s Club Magazine (2018).
Jennifer arrived at Foxwoods by way of Northern Quest Resort and Casino in Spokane Washington where she proved invaluable, working her way from Food & Beverage Shift Supervisor to Director of Loyalty Marketing during her eleven-year tenure. Jennifer played a pivotal role in creating Northern Quest’s property wide loyalty program which required the conversion of all the gaming operations and the player tracking system from one system to another and incorporating all the participating non-gaming systems into one system with a unique record for each guest. As a result of her success during this time, she received the prestigious VCAT/Barona Award for Excellence in Casino Marketing.
Jennifer holds a B.A in Business Management Information Systems and an MBA. She has been published in Indian Gaming Magazine and has served as a panelist for the Washington Indian Gaming Association, Canadian Gaming Summit, and CMO conferences.
