Jimmy Lunsford has been around honey bees his whole life, as a kid his grandparents and an uncle raised bees and when he turned 50 he took a job with a beekeeper that had 300 plus colonies and instantly fell in love with it. He’s been commercially beekeeping for 13 years. Jimmy took a beekeeper job with the Iowa Tribe of Kansas and Nebraska 8 years ago and have been able to grow the (IowayBeeFarm) into a profitable tribal business. He also helped the tribe on their CBD cannabis grow and learned how to incorporate the CBD cannabis into the honey production. It’s been a very interesting and challenging 8 years.
