Hellyaachwehay Quisquis is the President/CEO of The San Pasqual Economic Development Corporation. He was first appointed by Tribal Leadership to the Economic Development Agency in 2015. His immediate priorities as President of EDA were to completely restructure the Agency and take the Board and Tribe to a higher level of Economic Development. Real estate holdings were converted into trust land, for better business opportunities. The aging golf course, formerly known as Woods Valley Golf Club underwent a much-needed rebranding and was transformed into Native Oaks Golf Club. On July 9, 2017, the EDA would officially become a Tribally Chartered Corporation known today, as the SPEDC. In May 2021, a new era of economic development was unveiled by launching a 100% Tribally Owned Brand, The Horizon Fuel Center. President Quisquis and SPEDC has partnered with the National Center to empower generations by implementing and showcasing his Seven-Generation Blueprint for Economic Development.”
