Indigo Sky Casino Case Study

October 17, 2012     1:30 PM - 2:15 PM

The Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma, the professionals at Thalden Boyd Emery Architects and Red Stone Construction have transformed the tribe’s former “Bordertown Casino” into a new casino and hotel project, “Indigo Sky Casino,” which just opened near the Oklahoma border close to Seneca, MO. This fast-paced project was delivered using the efficiencies of a “design/build” approach and has resulted in a successful final product in record-breaking time, by utilizing cost efficiency methods and team strategies to accomplish their goals for the Tribe’s vision. The 117 room hotel is one of the tallest man-made structures within the 4-state region; the 1200 slot casino, RV Park and PowWow Grounds round out the property’s offerings.  Learn how this design/build team, working under Eastern Shawnee’s leadership and direction, produced such a remarkable facility.
